100m² apartrment 2+1
This apartment was designed for a family with a painter among its members, who owns a collection of over 49 artworks. The primary design challenge was to seamlessly integrate the art display into the living spaces, creating a home that both showcases the artworks and remains functional for everyday life.
To achieve this, a soft, neutral color palette was chosen, ensuring that the walls and interiors highlight the artworks without competing with them, while still reflecting the family’s personality and lifestyle. Functionality remained a key priority throughout the design process, guiding decisions on layout, storage, and circulation.
Innovative spatial techniques were employed to enhance the sense of openness and light. Mirrors were strategically incorporated to create reflections, amplifying the perception of space while concealing hidden storage cabinets behind them. This approach combined aesthetic elegance with practical functionality, resulting in a home that is both visually striking and highly livable.
Natural materials, including marble, wood, and linens, were used to create a serene and tactile environment, reinforcing a sense of calm that balances the vibrancy of the displayed artworks. Each design element—from the choice of finishes to the placement of furniture—was carefully curated to harmonize with the art, creating a residence that is at once personal, functional, and inspirational.
